'Lineaments of the Lwa' is a documentary collaboration between myself and Ranu Mukherjee of 0rphan Drift and Leah Gordon, artist. photographer and film maker. Funded by the Haiti Support Group London branch, ‘Lineaments’ describes the pantheon of spirits that inhabit Haitian Voudou, focusing on artistic representations. Most of the houngan or spiritual leaders are also artists, manifesting their connection to the lwa they serve, through altars, sequin flags, dolls and wrought iron sculptures.
